Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy, a half-Spanish, half-English woman was born on April 16th, 1997 in Miami Florida. The girl is English, the other half Spanish. Her parents are Dennis Alan Taylor an ex-banker and Jennifer Marina Joy psychologist. The father of her mother, who is native Argentine of Scottish and English descent is also her mother. The mother of Taylor-Joy has Spanish as well as English ancestry. Her birthplace was in a clan of six children. Four of her siblings are from her previous marriage to Taylor's dad. She lived with her family in Buenos Aires from the time she was six years old until the time they moved to Victoria, London. According to Taylor-Joy's account, the relocated family was traumatized and decided to not learn English in the hopes of moving back to Argentina. The school she attended had to be changed in Northlands and then Hill House. After that, she was enrolled at Queen's Gate School where she trained in ballet and appeared in school plays. In the year she turned 16 she dropped out of school in order to make a career of acting. Taylor-Joy was a child actress and was sure she would eventually become an actor. Her dreams were realized after Sarah Doukas, the founder of Storm Management offered her a position as a model.
