Arianna Stassinopoulos Huffington is a Greek American author syndicated columnist and businesswoman. She was a co-founder of The Huffington Post the founder and chief executive officer of Thrive Global and the author of fifteen books. Arianna Huffington, an independently-owned liberal news site and a television host as well as a writer and an philanthropist. After moving to England from Greece at the age of 16 and obtaining an MA with Economics from Cambridge University. She was the first person non-UK to serve as the president of The Cambridge Union at the age 21. Her popularity as a conservative journalist was further consolidated when she graduated. When the Huffington Post was launched The Huffington Post a few years later, she created an online platform for voice that gave critical opinions on the political situation. Her popularity allowed her to persuade a number of famous people to share their opinions regarding current affairs, the political and culture. Arianna became famous in 2003 when she ran as an independent candidate in the California recall elections in order to replace Governor Davis. Their parents are Elli and Konstantinos Stasinopoulos, who was a consultant in management as well as a journalist.
