Anita Sarkeesian is a Canadian-American feminist media critic and public speechwriter. Feminist Frequency is a web site which hosts video and commentary looking at the portrayals of women in pop media and popular. Anita Sarkeesian was a Canadian and American feminist media critic. Sarkeesian who has the degree of Master's in Political and Social thought from York University, is a well-known public speaking. She has spoken at TEDxWomen's XOXO Festival and the United Nations Broadband Working Group for Gender. She has been interested in feminist issues, gender and gender equality from a very early time. In 2009, while in university, she created the Feminist Frequency web site. The determined lady had planned to start a web-based series on gender-based representations in video games. However, she ended up being the victim of an online harassment campaign. This attack was not enough to stop her. It actually made her more committed to be a feminist as well as media critic.
