Kathrin Romany Beckinsale (born 26 July 1973)[1][2][3 is an English model and actress from England. While a student at Oxford and later in film, she made her debut in Much Ado About Nothing (1993). In addition to numerous radio and stage productions, she was a part of British costume dramas like Cold Comfort Farm (1995), Emma (1996), and Shooting Fish (1997). In the latter half of 1990, Beckinsale began film work in America. After appearing in smaller-scale dramas The Last Days of Disco (1998) and Brokedown Palace (1999), Beckinsale appeared in Pearl Harbor (2001), Serendipity (2001) and Tiptoes (2003). After her roles in The Aviator (2004) & Click (2006) in which she appeared as herself. These films helped make Beckinsale a major name in Hollywood. Also, she appeared in Click (2006) as well as The Aviator (2004). Still, she appears in minor dramas like Snow Angels (2007) and Nothing but the Truth (2008). The reviews were generally favorable for both her debut films. She was nominated for the Critics ' Choice Film Award for the Best Actress in the Comedy Love & Friendship in 2016. She was back in action films with Jolt (2021). She also starred in two television projects with The Widow (2019) and Guilty Party (2021).
